Transition

vanished winter sun
suffusing the flax blue, pristine sky,
a rose quartz pink -
as rooks return home
before nightfall

  2. Are rooks the same as jackdaws? I love jackdaws--we don't have them here in the states. I have wanted to respond to your comment on my blog and because I am not terribly computer savvy so it too me all this time to find you! Lovely poetry!

  3. Hi 'authorinprogress' - Rooks are crows like jackdaws but bigger. I love crows too - they are real survivors and very intelligent. What do you like about them? Glad you like the poetry by the way.
